Tan Sri Datuk Seri Panglima Joseph Kurup is a Malaysian politician. He is currently the Member of the Parliament of Malaysia for the Pensiangan constituency in Sabah, representing the United Sabah People's Party (PBRS). He is a Deputy Minister for Natural Resources and Environment in the Barisan Nasional government.[1]

Kurup was elected unopposed to Parliament in the 2008 election, replacing PBRS' Secretary-General Bernard Maraat.[2][3] His election had been contested by the People's Justice Party, but the Federal Court upheld his election after the Election Court had earlier overturned it and ordered a by-election.[4]

Kurup is currently the President of the PBRS.[5] Before entering federal politics, he was active in Sabah state politics, including serving as a minister in the Sabah government.[6]
